Fire Marshal Training

'A sufficient number of competent persons must be available to implement procedures for the safe evacuation of relevant persons from the premises...' The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Article 15.

Fire Marshal training is recommended for those employees nominated with specific fire safety responsibilities in the workplace, particularly with regard to general fire safety, emergency fire procedures and building evacuation.

Our Fire Marshal training is delivered by qualified trainers with extensive experience from within the fire and rescue service. This experience enables participants to gain a practical understanding of common fire related problems within commercial premises and the best methods of dealing with them.

In view of legislation it is important that a reasonable number of staff are trained as Fire Marshals and every member of staff has knowledge of fire awareness. Fire Marshals are responsible for other members of staff in the event of fire and are responsible to oversee basic fire prevention requirements in their work area.

This can only be achieved if staff are given the appropriate instruction, training and supervision as is necessary.

Course Content - Fire Marshal Training – £600.00 (£50.00 pp)

On completion of the above course the candidate will receive certification.

(Training will be given on dealing with specific fire risks if requested)

We recommend that each trainee returns to refresh their skills after 2 years.
